For the past 7 weeks I’ve been eating a 10am snack consisting of a coffee and all bran bar. The reality that this was not healthy didn’t come into mind.
I know the all bran bar has lots of fiber but it also contains a lot of sugar. In total the bran bar is sitting at 130 calories and that’s the Oatmeal Cinnamon version.
Today instead or in replace of the All Bran bar I’m enjoying a nice Gala Apple. Fruits are great for you and easy to digest and doesn’t leave extra fats to build up on your stomach wall.
I’m still enjoying my coffee despite the negative nutritional value information I found yesterday. I enjoy my coffee and I’m not going to give it up. What I do is have one coffee with cream and the rest have been with milk. I’m also trying to reduce the sugar I add to my coffee so I can once again escape the fat coming into my body.
If we drink 2 creams and 2 sugars in our coffee we’re looking at a total of 80 calories per coffee so we have to start looking at how we drink coffee during the day.
What did I eat for breakfast?
I wanted to remain consistent with what I was eating so again today I eat 2 sugar free yogurts and added half a cup of fresh cut strawberries. I also enjoyed a banana as well.
What’s on the menu for lunch?
Today’s lunch is the same as yesterdays. I have a salad with a whole tomato, half a cucumber and cut some broccoli heads onto it. I also added three fat free meats from lily dale to the top of my salad. It’s very important we get protein as well as fruits and vegetables. I should also mention the salad dressing I use is made with olive oil and is extremely healthy compared to the other kinds. You should avoid any cream based dressing and don’t use more then a table spoon.

I also have 2 cups of mixed grapes and grapefruit for the fruit portion of my lunch.
That’s about it until dinner time!
Since I first started exercising with the Wii Fit my biggest challenge was snaking and eating on the weekends. I have the most control Monday’s to Fridays but for some reason when the weekend hits I want to snack. I’m assuming it’s due to staying up later. Normally I go to sleep around 10pm and on the weekend that gets pushed to 1 or 2 am.
The best way to take control of my weekend snaking it to determine or compile a list of things I can to do in order to not think about snaking but still stay up late. During the week I drink lots of water in the evenings. This helps me psychologically not want to eat. If I get a craving for food I simply have a drink of my water and it fades away ever so slowly.
I don’t exercise during the weekends. As mentioned in my introductory posy I only do the Wii Fit Monday – Thursday. I was supposed to start doing the Wii Fit Fridays this month but it’s not looking good! For some reason I don’t have the motivation to add that extra day in my workouts.
Officially for the past month I have left the weekend gaining weight. Approximately I’ve been gaining 1-2 pounds per weekend. Come Wednesday this weight has been taken off and I start to go down again. As mentioned I’m currently sitting at 195 pounds and 6 weeks ago I was 205. That’s the heaviest I’ve ever been.
As I grow into a routine on the weekends I will keep you updated on my ideals and progress but as for now nothing happens. I’m assuming I will start walking in the evenings or mornings but to be honest my weekend is pretty packed right now and jammed for time. Groceries, laundry, cleaning the house and social activities keep me from working on my dieting and exercising.
That’s not to say I don’t have 30 minutes to get some exercise in I just haven’t dedicated the time slot yet. When I do my eating hobbits will change as well.
